This project added a private master addition to an established family home, designed to feel like the rest of the house while still standing on its own as a calm, light-filled escape. The addition opens through a shared entryway flanked by two walk-in closets.
Beyond the closets, the bedroom was framed for height and natural light. Tall ceilings and ample windows help the room breathe. Light-toned flooring keeps the palette warm and uncluttered. A ductless mini-split provides quiet, energy-efficient climate control.
The ensuite bathroom includes a linen closet and double-bowl vanity that becomes the room’s centerpiece. It’s finished with champagne gold faucets and matching hardware. In the shower, that same gold thread runs through the fixtures and into a custom niche trimmed with a gold Schluter edge, set against a hexagon marble tile floor that ties the finishes together.
