Our clients wanted a place to unwind, entertain, and feel connected to the outdoors without sacrificing comfort. The result is a four-season room and patio addition that completely transformed the back of this Plainville MA home.
Inside, the four-season room was designed to feel like a natural extension of the house. Tall windows wrap the space, pulling in natural light and keeping the views front and center through every season. A wood-burning fireplace wrapped in stone veneer anchors the room and serves as the centerpiece of both the interior and the covered patio beyond it. The rich stain on the tongue and groove ceiling adds warmth overhead.
A copper standing-seam roof crowns the addition; a detail built to age beautifully. Stone veneer on the chimney and carefully selected exterior accent lighting round out an exterior that’s just as compelling after dark as it is in the afternoon sun.
Stepping outside, the 1,500 sq. ft. paver patio gives the space room to breathe. Whether you’re hosting a crowd or winding down after a long day, this is the kind of space that makes you want to stay outside just a little longer.
